Meet Our Board
The Buckeye Main Street Coalition was formed in 1989 by a group of passionate Buckeye residents, business owners, mothers and fathers who wanted to help preserve the Main Street Downtown Buckeye, Arizona.
For more than 3 decades, volunteers have donated their time, creativity and talent to helping the business’ and residents of Historic Downtown Buckeye through events, promotion and beautification of Monroe Ave.


Candi Youngker
Board Member Since 2017
Alongside her husband, Tony, Candi has run Cafe 25:35 since 2013. Having voluneetered with the Buckeye Main Street Coalition for four years, Candi took on the role of President of the Board in 2020.


Christy McAchran
Board Member Since 2015
Christy loves Downtown Buckeye and has passionately worked with the Buckeye Main Street Coalition for 6 years. She is currently acting as the Secretary & the role of Organization Chair. She is also involved with the Friends of the Buckeye Public Library, The Rotary Club of Buckeye, Buckeye Elks Lodge #2686 and Buckeye Lions Club.


Lara Serbin
Board Member Since 2011
Co-owner of Serbin Studio, Lara has been lending her architecture expertise to the Buckeye Main Street Coalition for over a decade. She is currently leading the Design Committee. In addition to all the hard work Lara puts into the Buckeye Main Street Coalition, she acts as a member for the Buckeye Historical Society, the President of the West Valley Rock and Mineral club, Member of Buckeye Rotary and Buckeye Women’s club.


Jay Broadbent
Board Member Since 2002
Jay has volunteered with the Buckeye Main Street Coalition for 19 years. He is currently co-chairing the Economic Committee.
Also dedicating his time as the Trustee at Buckeye Elks Lodge #2686 and President of the Buckeye Rotary Club, Jay’s hope is to work with the Buckeye Main Street Coalition to help Buckeye Main Street businesses become a destination through promotion and special events.

Jeff Serbin
Board Member Since 2014
Along side his wife, Lara, Jeff has been activately involved with the Buckeye Main Street Coalition since 2014. Over the years, Jeff has been creatively involved in 11 specialty projects spurred by Buckeye Main Street Coalition efforts including: Graphic Design for BMSC Events 2015 – 2021 & BMSC Oktoberfest Car Show 2014 – 2021


Alice Dryer
Board Member Since 1989
Alice has been involved with the Buckeye Main Street Coalition since it began.
A resident of the Buckeye Valley for more than 50 years, Alice is the current owner of the Tin Shop Building which is home to Screws & Sparkles.
Currently volunteering as BMSC’s treasurer, Alice is passionate about all things related to Downtown Buckeye, Arizona.


Ryan Belshee
Board Member Since 2021
When he isn’t crafting something tasty to drink, Ryan is a man of many talents. Lending the majority of his skills to rehabilitating a nearly 100-year-old building, Ryan is ready to help revitalize historic Downtown as the Economic committee co-chair.


Melanie Belshee
Board Member Since 2021
In 2019, Melanie and her husband Ryan relocated their business, Bootleg Botanicals, from Las Vegas. They have spent the better part of 2 years restoring the old Ice House at the corner of 5th & Jackson in Downtown Buckeye, where they enjoy a cup of coffee with Hobo Joe every morning. Melanie is a Graphic Designer / Branding specialist who is excited to lend her skills to the Downtown Buckeye community tackling the role of the Promotional comittee chair.
